Now in its fourth generation of producing fine pipe tobaccos, the Stokkebye family tradition began with Erik Peter Stokkebye, born in 1855, and continues to this day with bespoke blends, many paying homages to important dates in their family history. This mixture honours the birth year of company founder Erik Peter, a man known for his deep passion for natural tobacco flavours. Erik Peter, his father, was a larger-than-life person, full of energy and passion for his craft. His favourite tobacco was the navy flake, and this full-bodied smoke is a perfect example of his passion. It strikes a natural balance in the distinct characteristics of superior burley and mature Virginias by using a small measure of black cavendish to please true flake lovers.
